Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced ER team in California. You will triage, treat, and monitor a wide range of emergencies, collaborating with doctors and support staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

You will perform nursing tasks, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care duties while supporting pet parents through stressful moments. Ideal candidates hold AVMA-accredited credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) and have 1+ year of emergency

Qualifications

• CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT credentialing in state of practice required/strongly preferred
• 1+ years experience in emergency or specialty veterinary medicine preferred
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced ER

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat emergency cases alongside doctors and team
• Provide nursing care, monitoring, and anesthesia as needed
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, and critical care nursing
• Communicate effectively with clients and team to ensure smooth care flow
• Perform CPR and other life-saving interventions as trained
