Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You’ll perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents through stressful moments.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician required in the practice state.
• AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program strongly preferred.
• 1+ year of veterinary technician experience; emergency/specialty preferred.
• Excellent communication and calm under pressure in a fast-paced ER.
• Able to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 kg; work in noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Deliver medications, monitoring, and advanced nursing skills.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, imaging, and critical care nursing.
