Veterinary Emergency Group is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Des Moines, IA. You’ll join a front-line ER team handling emergencies, triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing to deliver gold standard care.

You must be CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credentialed in the state and have 1+ year of veterinary tech experience; associate degree preferred. Expect a fast-paced environment with variable shifts including nights and weekends.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited program strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state the VEG practice is located is required.

Responsabilidades

• Handle a wide range of emergency cases from triage to critical care nursing.
• Perform nursing care, treatments, monitoring, and anesthesia support.
• Assist with diagnostics, radiology, and sample collection.
• Provide compassionate support to pet parents during stressful moments.
