Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group in Lynnwood, WA is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Part Time) to join our front-line emergency team. You will participate in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, while supporting pet parents in stressful moments.

Ideal candidates are CVTs with 1+ year experience, AVMA-accredited education preferred, and ability to lift up to 25 kg. Flexible, night/weekend shifts available in a fast-paced ER setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited associate’s degree in veterinary technology preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of practice.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software/EMR.
• Excellent communicator and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg, and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing for emergency cases.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Serve as a steady, compassionate presence for pet parents during stressful moments.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver gold-standard care.
• Perform essential procedures and support advanced techniques as needed.
