Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree required; bachelor's preferred in veterinary tech
• 3+ years as a veterinary technician in a fast-paced hospital; university hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care and assist clinicians with procedures.
• Teach veterinary students and technicians; mentor new staff.
• Assist in research and clinical trials; support hospital-wide initiatives.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and clean clinical areas.
• Provide client education and discharge instructions; communicate effectively.
