Job summary

Keval Brokerage Transit, Inc., a healthcare transportation provider, seeks a dependable Emergency Vehicle Operator to drive ambulances and support EMT crews during medical transports.

The EVO will follow established safety procedures to ensure patients and crew reach destinations safely and with dignity, perform vehicle inspections, assist with loading and unloading, and communicate clearly with dispatch and facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• EVO/EVOC training or ability to complete company training before independent assignment.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to safely assist with lifting, stretcher movement, and patient loading/unloading.
• Calm judgment, professionalism, and flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate ambulances safely, defensively, and legally.
• Plan routes and follow emergency vehicle procedures.
• Secure vehicles for patient loading/unloading.
• Assist EMT crew with patient transfers and equipment.
• Maintain professional communication with dispatchers and staff.
• Perform pre-/post-trip inspections and vehicle restocking.
