Job summary

Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installer for our US-based facility. This full-time role offers hands-on training for candidates new to the field, with opportunities to work on lights, radios, cameras, and other 12V equipment across multiple vehicle types.

Ideal candidates have a safe driving record, basic auto wiring understanding, and strong problem-solving with attention to detail. Local travel and overtime may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Entry-level applicants encouraged; training provided.
• Ability to work safely with tools; basic understanding of auto wiring preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; able to follow directions and work in small teams.
• Preferred: experience in emergency/law enforcement vehicle installations or related automotive/electronics fields.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment—light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, consoles, K-9 cages, and more.
• Configure brand-new units, upgrade existing fleets, and service prior installations on a variety of vehicles.
• Disassemble and reassemble OEM vehicle interior trim and components.
• Plan wiring routes for efficiency and future troubleshooting; perform electrical modifications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with advanced automotive equipment.
• Keep workspace and tools safe, clean, and organized.
• Learn cutting-edge techniques and product technologies from teammates and manufacturers.
• Pitch in with shipping, receiving, inventory, and other shop functions.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
