Job summary

Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installer (Full Time) in Statesville, NC. Earn $20.00–$22.00 per hour, with overtime opportunities. Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and drive.

You will install and service 12-volt equipment across various vehicles, plan wiring routes, and ensure safety in a fast-paced shop environment. Valid driver’s license required and occasional overtime may occur.

Qualifications

• Entry-level applicants encouraged with training provided.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work safely with tools; basic understanding of auto wiring preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment—light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, consoles, K-9 cages, and more.
• Configure brand-new units, upgrade existing fleets, and service prior installations across various vehicles.
• Disassemble and reassemble OEM vehicle interior trim and components.
• Plan wiring routes for efficiency and future troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with advanced automotive equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized workspace and tools.
• Learn cutting-edge techniques and product technologies from teammates.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and other shop functions as needed.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly.
