Job summary

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) is seeking a highly motivated physician to join our one-year Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship. This fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity to advance clinical expertise in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) while playing an integral role in our academic mission.

As an Ultrasound Fellow, you will maintain clinical practice in our busy academic emergency department while helping to shape the education of emergency

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine.
• Current or eligible for unrestricted medical license in New Hampshire.
• Board Certification or eligibility with certification to be obtained within five years.

Responsibilities

• Leading weekly ultrasound quality assurance (QA) image review sessions.
• Developing and delivering resident lectures, hands-on workshops, and supervised scanning sessions.
• Providing ultrasound education for medical students throughout their curriculum.
• Collaborating with departments across the institution and regional partners to support ultrasound education and training initiatives.
• Contributing to the continued growth and innovation of the DHMC Emergency Ultrasound Program.
