Job summary

CentraCare Health in Saint Cloud, MN invites applications for a Patient Care Extender in the Emergency Trauma Center. You’ll assist with wound care, start splints, draw blood, help patients walk with crutches, and support a fast-paced ED team every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EMT-Basic or Nursing Assistant preferred.
• One year of ED experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card required, can be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

• Help patients by cleaning and dressing wounds and starting splints.
• Perform blood draws and assist with patient mobility and crutch walking.
• Support ED team in a fast-paced trauma care environment.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during treatment.
