Providence Medford Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Technician for a 0.9 FTE full-time night shift. The role involves direct patient care in the Emergency Department, working with the emergency team to optimize outcomes while assisting physicians and nurses during procedures.

Qualified candidates will have BLS (American Heart Association), PMAB certification, and at least one year of relevant experience.

Formación

• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required at hire.
• PMAB—Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior—mandatory upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant patient-care experience; may include clinical rotations, military medical experience, or nursing student experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians/nurse practitioners during procedures by providing sutures, supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures and support direct patient care in the Emergency Department.

Emergency Technician at Providence Medford Medical Center is 0.9 FTE full time position working during weekdays and weekends on a night shift.

Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.

Required Qualifications:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Associationupon hire.
• Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually upon hire.
• 1 yearrelevant experience.
  • Patient care or clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.

Preferred Qualification:

• Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate upon hire.
