Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Medical Center is seeking a patient care assistant to support emergency department staff. The role involves greeting patients, collecting initial data for nurses, and assisting clinicians with patient care, including basic assessments and specimen collection.

Assists the department staff by performing assigned duties.
A minimum of 6 months' experience in direct patient care setting required.
High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher preferred
BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position AND
EMT or SRNA - Certified Emergency Medical Technician or certified as State Registered Nurse Assistant in the state of Kentucky preferred; required in lieu of experience requirement
