Job summary

Essential HealthCare Solutions, LLC seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to support Emergency Shelter Operations in Southwest Florida during hurricane activations. You will be deployed 12-hour shifts on-site at shelters, ensuring on-call nursing coverage and coordination with EMS and safety personnel.

Responsibilities include medical screening, triage, basic care, and rapid response to incidents. Florida RN license and current BLS are required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Florida RN license — required.
• Current BLS certification — required (ACLS/PALS preferred).
• Ability to pass a background screening.
• Must practice within Florida RN licensure scope; no prescribing or diagnosing absent oversight.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical screening and health assessments for shelter occupants.
• Provide basic medical care: first aid, vital signs, minor illness/injury management.
• Triage complaints and coordinate referrals to urgent care or EMS; document decisions.
