Job summary

Essential HealthCare Solutions, LLC is building a roster of Florida-licensed Registered Nurses to deliver on-site nursing care at employee shelters during hurricane and severe-weather events in Southwest Florida. As the licensed clinical anchor at a shelter, you keep the line crews, contractors, and emergency personnel working to restore power healthy, safe, and fit for duty.

On activation, deploy to designated shelter sites with 12-hour shifts, including days and nights, up to 14 days.

Qualifications

• Active, Florida-licensed Registered Nurse required.
• Current BLS certification required (ACLS/PALS preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical screening and health assessments of shelter occupants.
• Provide basic medical care and monitor vital signs.
• Triage medical complaints and coordinate referral to urgent care or EMS.
• Respond to on-site medical incidents within minutes and provide emergency nursing care.
• Direct on-site staff and coordinate with EMS and hospitals.
