Job summary

Region Ten Community Services is seeking a Nurse (LPN or RN) at the Charlottesville center to monitor health and safety, administer medications, and supervise staff trained in medication administration. Qualifications

• Must be licensed (LPN or RN) to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Must be able to transport consumers, if needed.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience with behavioral health is preferred.
• Pediatric nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physical health and safety of Center enrollees.
• Deliver and administer medications; supervise para-professional staff in medication administration.
• Communicate health status with other health care practitioners.
• Provide education and consultation to Center staff on health care issues.
