Job summary

Harrisonburg-Rockingham CSB is seeking a licensed practical nurse to join their crisis stabilization program, providing critical care in a 24-hour setting. The successful candidate will ensure accurate medication handling, offer health education, and assist in client assessments and treatment planning.

Ideal applicants will have a nursing degree, a current Virginia LPN license, and experience with mental health services. Flexibility in shifts is essential to meet residents’ needs. Opportunities for ongoing training and development are also available.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current Virginia LPN licensure.
• Three years of nursing experience or experience with mental health clients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper medication handling and storage.
• Assist in the medical assessment of clients.
• Provide health education and wellness counseling.
