Job summary

Self-Help Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented data professional to join the Emergency Services team. You will maintain program data, develop reports and dashboards, and identify trends to inform decision-making and grant reporting.

The role involves GIS analysis with ArcGIS, ETL development, and automated solutions using Power Platform tools, ensuring data quality and governance across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting, maintaining, validating, analyzing, or reporting data.
• Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
• Experience using Excel and Power BI.

• Experience with ArcGIS, Power Automate, Power Apps, APIs, or data-governance is desirable.
• Knowledge of grant and regulatory reporting requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, maintain, and analyze program and participant data across databases and systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain databases, data integrations, ETL processes, and data systems.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Conduct data audits to identify gaps; work with staff to correct issues.
• Establish data-quality assurance and governance practices.
• Extract and analyze data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Conduct spatial and GIS analysis using ArcGIS for planning and compliance.
• Prepare data and reports per grant, contract, funder, and regulatory requirements.
• Support KPIs, outcome measures, forecasting, and evaluation tools.
• Develop automated solutions with Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Support data projects involving migrations, integrations, APIs, and tools.
• Maintain data dictionaries, user guides, and training materials.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot data issues.
• Deliver training sessions to help staff use data systems and dashboards.
• Collaborate with staff, leadership, partners, and funders to identify data needs.
• Provide data-informed recommendations for planning and decision-making.
