Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Assistant Supervisor to lead a safety-minded team, oversee incident reporting, and enforce regulations to ensure the safety of residents and staff. You will perform patrols, supervise gatehouse operations, and guide daily security activities.

The role includes visitor screening, training, and hands-on leadership, with a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of public safety supervisory experience (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or equivalent supervisory role.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols, staff the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls.
• Enforce parking and traffic regulations.
• Complete daily shift and incident reports.

Join our team as a Security and Emergency Services Assistant Supervisor, where you will lead by example in overseeing the safety and security of our community. In this role, you will enforce regulations, manage incident reports, and provide leadership, training, and support to the team to ensure smooth and safe operations.

• Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 based on experience

How you will make an impact

• Perform regular patrols of the property, staffing of the gatehouse, and responds to emergency and routine calls for service
• Enforce parking and traffic regulations
• Ensure the completion of daily shift reports and incident reports (regarding medical response, theft of property, accidents, fires, serious mechanical malfunctions, emergency responses, violations of rules and regulations
• Screen visitors, vendors, etc. at the gatehouse
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Assist in training, coaching, and counseling of employees.
  • Provide daily leadership, supervision, motivation, and communication to direct & indirect reports
  • Monitor team throughout the day and reinforces safety practices

What you will need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in public safety supervisory (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement) or comparable supervisory experience
• Current and valid driver’s license
