Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current VA-EMTBasic/EMT-Enhanced/EMTAdvanced/EMT-I/EMT-P certification.
• Current BLS certification.

• Excellent verbal and written communication; additional language proficiencies preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.

• Pay or shift range: $19.38 USD to $26.75 USD The pay range reflects the current compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Individual offers are determined based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Not all candidates will qualify for the upper end of the posted range.

Description

An Emergency Room Technician provides basic care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This role must maintain an environment that is prepared for patient care.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent is required
• Current Certification in VA-EMTBasic, EMT-Enhanced, EMTAdvanced, EMT-I, or EMT-P
• Must have current BLS certification
• Proficiency with medical terminology
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Additional language proficiencies are preferred
• Must be proficient in basic computer skills
