Job summary

Lake Charles Memorial Health System is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to assist with patient care and comfort under nurse supervision. The role supports nursing staff with delegated duties and assists seriously ill patients in a fast-paced ER environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma and CPR certification; nursing assistant experience is preferred but not required. This position is on site and integral to the care team in Lake Charles, LA.

Qualifications

Description Of Position

• The Emergency Room Technician performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists the professional nursing staff by performing any delegated duties, specialized procedures, and assists with care of seriously ill patients.

SUPERVISION:

Reports directly to Nurse Manager and/or Charge Nurse

Responsibilities And Duties

Education And Work Experience
