Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Emergency Room Tech to support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the Emergency Department, performing delegated functions from the RN or Physician.

Each day you will conduct selected diagnostics and procedures, assist with patient transport and lifting, and provide general clerical and cleaning support to the unit.

To be successful, you will execute delegated tasks, support unit operations, and contribute to a safe and efficient environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with applicable EMT/MA/CNA/LPN/NA coursework.
• WA certifications or enrollment in required WA programs as listed.
• CPR/BLS certification completed or to be completed on hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in implementing plan of care by performing common clinical procedures and tasks within scope of practice.
• Demonstrates competency in delivering care and clinical techniques: Basic Airway Management, CPR, vital signs, ECG.
