Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a registered nurse for Emergency Services with a weekend option. The role involves actively delivering high-quality emergency nursing care, supervising staff, and coordinating supplies and equipment within a fast-paced environment.

The emergency nurse will contribute to teamwork and patient safety while adhering to hospital mission and values. Alabama RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS requirements apply, with shifts 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and a 0.9 FTE schedule.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Active RN license in Alabama required.
PALS within one year of employment.
ACLS within one year of employment.
BLS required.
Institutional intermediate EKG course completed.

Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care and manage assigned personnel, supplies and equipment.
Promote positive relationships and teamwork across departments.
Ensure quality and quantity of nursing care in line with standards and department mission.
