HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in Miami-Dade is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across departments, aligned with nursing standards and hospital models. Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida licensing requirements).
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• ACLS certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year acute care experience.
• 1 year minimum ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote pain management and reassessment after intervention.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about medical condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures and self-management.

Education

Florida RN license or Compact Licensure

Graduate from accredited School of Nursing

ACLS certification or within 30 days

BLS certification or within 30 days
