Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered if enrolled in BSN program with degree completion within 2 years of hire/transfer.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience, preferably trauma.
• Experience with electronic documentation/EHR systems.
• Current unrestricted RN license in CA (BRN).
• BLS, PALS, ACLS by AHA.
• NIHSS within 30 days of hire.
• ED Core Curriculum preceptorship or EDAP/ENPC within required timelines.
• TNCC/ATCN or TCAR within 6 months.
• CEN or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across the health care continuum.
• Discharge planning and scheduling of services; monitor care delivery.
• Advocate for patients and families; evaluate outcomes with the team.
