Job Description

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Emergency Room.

Employment Details

Type: Full-time
Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift, Evening/Night Flex, 36 hours/week, EOW, EOH

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care applying the nursing process systematically according to hospital policy.
• Communicate proactively with the healthcare team regarding patient care, condition changes, and discharge planning.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
• Assess patient risks, perform physical assessments, and participate in discharge planning using a multidisciplinary approach.

Qualifications

• BSN or BS/BA in Nursing
• Current RN license in Pennsylvania
• BCLS certification; ACLS certification preferred or obtained during orientation
• Professional certifications are preferred

Experience

• Prior clinical experience preferred
