Description:

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Registered Nurse.

Shift: Full Time, Evening/Night Flex, 36 hours a week, EOW, EOH

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The professional nurse delegates patient care to other healthcare team members responsibly and accountably.

• Provides total, comprehensive patient care by applying the nursing process systematically according to hospital policy.
• Communicates proactively with the healthcare team regarding the plan of care, patient condition changes, progress, discharge planning, and other relevant information.
• Documents assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes, and interprets clinical data for the care plan.
• Documents pain, fall risk, and wound risk assessments and plans of care.
• Performs thorough nursing physical assessments and assesses patient risk factors.
• Participates in discharge planning using a multidisciplinary approach.

Education and Training:

• BSN or BS/BA degree in Nursing
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license
• Current BCLS certification; ACLS required if applicable to area of practice
• Professional certifications preferred

Experience:

• Prior clinical experience preferred
