Qualifications

• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
• RN - Texas State Licensure (Permanent license within 60 days if establishing residency)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA) within 4 months
• NIH STROKE - NIH Stroke Scale Certification (AHA) within 4 months
• NVCRISIS - Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) within 4 months
• Knowledge of English language sufficient for safety and communication
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and care team
• Time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
