Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Lebanon, TN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to join FT Days (36 hrs/wk). This role reports to the Clinical Director and collaborates with the nursing and medical teams to deliver high-quality care.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, and continuously apply the nursing process to ensure safe, effective outcomes. Relocation stipends are available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program; RN licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant ER or acute care experience.
• Strong communication and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care and coordinates delivery.
• Assesses and analyzes patient information to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate progress and apply interventions.
• Promotes a safe environment and high-quality care.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
