Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Emergency for Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, MI. The role requires a minimum of 2 years RN inpatient experience, preferably ER, and involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care in a high-acuity unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months of hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association obtained within 3 months of hire date.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary plan of care to optimize length of stay and outcomes.
• Provide patient education and address fears through effective communication.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform dressings and glucose monitoring.
• Monitor responses to interventions and respond to acute changes in condition.
• Collaborate with case managers for discharge planning and follow-up care.
