Job summary

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in the state of practice, with preferred BSN and acute care facility experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• ACLS, BLS or equivalent certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required; TEAM or CPI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
• Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery and promotes a safe environment.
• Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Identifies outcomes for the patient or the patient’s situation.
