Job summary

Adventist Health Sonora is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care in the Emergency Department during the evening shift. You will supervise nursing staff, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and implement the nursing process to ensure safe, high-quality care for patients.

Requirements include California RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and ACLS/PALS as required by policy. BSN preferred; acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice (California) required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
• PALS or ARC-PALS certification required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to established standards and nursing process
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
• Delegates duties appropriately and coordinates the healthcare team
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
