Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is hiring a registered nurse for the Marlborough, MA area. The role involves direct patient care in a 12-hour day shift with 24 scheduled hours per week and a 6:45 AM–7:15 PM window.

The RN will use the nursing process from admission to discharge, perform assessments, coordinate discharge planning, guide the care team, and delegate tasks per competency and policy.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required for every RN.
• ACLS certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
