Job summary

Lifepoint Health supports Ottumwa Regional Health Center in seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Emergency Services. This PRN, 12-hour shift ER role cares for acutely ill patients in an 18-bed unit and emphasizes clinical judgment and timely decision-making.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license required.
• BLS certification.
• Experience in ER/ICU/Step-down/Med/Surg settings required.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• PALS within six months of hire.
• TNCC within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for acutely ill patients in the Emergency Department.
• Utilize the nursing process, clinical judgment, prioritization, and time management.
• Perform assigned procedures within the scope of practice as defined by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.

Skills

BLS certification
