First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

ER RNs must have an active RN license, 2+ years in acute-care ER, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Per diem roles offer daily and weekly pay, with credentialing completed per facility requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritise patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
