Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia seeks experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for Per Diem hospital assignments. Choose shifts that fit your availability while working with a local staffing team that provides competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and support from 5:00 AM-11:30 PM.

Expect to meet requirements including an Active RN License, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Daily and weekly pay options are available with credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritise patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements
