Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital opportunities. The ER RN will assess and monitor patients in an acute-care setting, triage needs, administer medications, and coordinate care with physicians.

Shifts are flexible: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM or 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, with the option to work as little as one shift per month. We offer flexible scheduling, daily pay via RapidPay, and weekly pay, with support from a local

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care ER setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs to optimize care.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete required assessments and documentation; perform additional duties as needed.

ER RN Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care
