First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem hospital assignments in the New York area. Earn competitive hourly pay and choose shifts that fit your schedule, with daily/weekly pay options and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include triage, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and coordinating care with physicians.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

ER RN Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting
• Triage and prioritize patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations
• Complete required assessments and documentation
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care
