Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for per diem hospital shifts. You will select shifts that fit your availability and work with a local team offering competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Per diems include daily pay options and shifts ranging from evenings to nights, with access to a RapidPay card and local coordinators supporting scheduling and credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.
• Dependable and professional with a commitment to quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
