Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is looking for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to work Per Diem. Shifts available from 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with flexible scheduling and daily pay via RapidPay.

Earn competitive per diem pay while supporting hospitals in the area. Active RN license with at least 2 years of acute-care ER experience is required, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
