Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract - full time position in Petersburg, VA. The RN will provide front-line nursing care in the emergency department, applying the nursing process and coordinating with the care team in emergent settings.

Requires current RN license in the state, ER experience preferred, and CPR certification. CEN preferred; usual health requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
• CEN certification preferred
• Current CPR certification
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Collaborates with health care team to provide efficient, safe, high-quality care in acute situations.

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.
