Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. The RN will provide expert nursing care in the ED, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage emergent patients.

Requirements include an active RN license in RI, ER experience preferred, and CPR. CEN certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current RN license within the state of practice (RI).
• Minimum of one year ER experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• CPR certification (if applicable).
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract/state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process in the ED or other emergent care areas.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care in the emergency setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure timely, safe patient care.

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or otheremergent critical care areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state ofpractice

• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred

• CEN certification preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
