Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (travel) to provide patient care in pediatric or adult emergency settings. You will apply the nursing process, assess patients, support care plans, and document care in fast-paced environments.

Requires current RN license in Virginia and preferred ER experience; CEN certification and CPR may be required. Travel assignments vary by facility with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process and delivering patient care in the emergency department or other emergent critical care areas.

Job description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or otheremergent critical care areas.

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state ofpractice
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
• CEN certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
