Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a 99-bed acute care hospital in Palatka, Florida. You will provide high-quality emergency care in a 24-hour ED, triaging and treating patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, administering treatments, coordinating admissions, and educating patients and families. A Florida RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications completed within 30 days is required, along

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of acute-care Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate/compact RN license.
• Compact license holders must obtain a Florida RN license within 60 days of relocation.
• BLs, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within 30 days of employment start date.

• Assess, triage, monitor, and document patients’ conditions, symptoms, and vital signs.
• Provide timely, compassionate, patient-centered emergency nursing care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Review diagnostic results and communicate significant changes in patient condition.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized patient care plans.
• Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Delegate and supervise appropriate patient care activities.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
• Ensure emergency equipment and supplies are maintained and ready for use.
