Openwork Health is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide critical nursing care in fast-paced, high-acuity environments. You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to assess needs, deliver interventions, and support patients and families.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with ER or acute care experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, and strong assessment and communication skills for high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Room (ER) or similar acute care setting preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively in high pressure situations.
• Commitment to maintaining up to date licenses and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rapid and accurate patient assessments upon admission to the emergency room.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with emergency procedures and utilize life saving equipment as needed.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
