Job description

The Nurse Educator is a professional nurse who provides consultation to Women and Children Department nursing personnel and conducts and coordinates educational experiences. The responsibilities encompass assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical skills' development, in-services and continuing education programs at the Unit and/or Department level.

Job Requirements:

1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
2. BSN Required, Master’s degree in Nursing or other allied professional discipline preferred.
3. 1-3 years’ experience teaching as a Nursing Educator or teaching in a professional capacity in an allied field.
4. Registered Nurse (RN) with valid IL license.
5. BLS / ACLS certification.
