Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in the BJC HealthCare system is seeking a Registered Nurse for 3-12 hour day or night shifts. The role supports comprehensive care for a Magnet®-accredited facility, with a focus on nursing excellence and teamwork within a high-volume emergency department and hospital setting.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient/family education, planning and documenting plans of care, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree.
• Nursing license and active RN status.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment and educates on post-treatment home care and medication administration.
• Ensures patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family.
• Assesses patient needs across physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural and population-specific dimensions.
