Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver episodic care in the emergency department in Temple, TX. You will provide care to neonates through geriatrics under ER physician supervision.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited NP/PA program with current certification and DEA license, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS. ER experience is preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program.
• Current NP/PA certification and DEA license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• ER experience 1 year preferred.
• Age-specific emergency care knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to all ages in ER in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Oversee patient flow in care areas.
• Perform head-to-toe and psycho-social assessments and follow-up as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of medications and administration.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Participate in staff development and continuing education.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, under supervision of the ER physician.
