Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an experienced RN in Calhoun, GA to deliver compassionate care in a hospital setting. You will perform thorough patient assessments, plan and execute individualized care, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes.

Requirements include Georgia RN license, BLS, acute care experience, and strong documentation. This full-time role offers growth and a supportive environment within AdventHealth.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Experience in acute hospital settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and gather vital signs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with SMART goals.
• Administer and monitor medications and treatments safely.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Advocate for patient safety and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists, social workers and nurses for coordinated care.
• Collect and analyze patient health data to prioritize needs.
• Document care activities accurately in medical records.
