Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Nashville, TN. The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 1 year, plus CPI within 6 months. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and support patients and families.

You will perform assessments, administer medications, document care, and uphold high patient-service standards while utilizing the nursing process across age groups.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment.
• CPI within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions with accurate records.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient condition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and age-appropriate care.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Emergency Room Nurse

Registered nursesprovideand coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating withphysicians and multidisciplinary team members toprovidephysical and psychological support to patients and their families.Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedto:assessments and reassessments,developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance ofequipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:

• You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records
• You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• You will promote hospital customer service initiatives.
• You will utilize nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients.
• You will demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association
• ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment
