Formación

• Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.

Responsabilidades

• Performs vitals, blood draws, IV insertions, EKGs on patients when indicated.
• Provides direct nursing care to assigned patients.
• Participates in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care given.
• Uses the nursing plan of care in daily assignments and may review or modify it under supervision.
• Delivers nursing interventions per the medical plan of care and communicates changes to the team.
• Follows physician's orders and maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Administers medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Documents nursing care in patient records and adheres to infection control procedures.
